Mansion of Count Juozapas Tiskevicius
The building at Zygimantu str. 3 is located in the historic Radvila dynasty jurisdiction along the Neris River. Designed in 1859, it became the first representative building on the newly formed riverside embankment. In 1891, the property was reconstructed by Count Jonas Juozapas Tiskevicius, including the addition of an orangery that gave the building its distinctive character.
Nationalised in 1940, the building later served as a Red Cross hospital and played an important role during the tragic events of 13 January 1991.
For this project, BOISROIS designed and manufactured historical-style timber windows, preserving the building’s architectural authenticity while meeting modern performance requirements for acoustic and thermal efficiency, airtightness, and durability.
